About

Mark Langston is an Artist and Filmmaker.

Inspired by the industrial and working class heritage of my home area of South East Northumberland I began making short films recording the contemporary experiences of local people. I then began working across media to explore the broader experience of contemporary and historical narratives in the UK, looking at history, culture and humour to explore the threads that connect the past and present and looking into the often strange and surreal aspects of contemporary experience.

Mark graduated from Camberwell college of Arts in 2015 and was awarded a scholarship to attend The Royal College of Art in the same year.
